Kenlake State Resort Park, Aurora

My stay at the Kenlake Hotel was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is charming and has obviously been well cared for, with spacious and very clean rooms. The dining experience was enjoyable with great food choices. However, its location can be a bit tricky to find since it's not right off the interstate. That said, the value for money, especially in winter, is hard to beat.

While the staff was friendly and the location by the lake offered beautiful views, the cleanliness and maintenance of the accommodations left a lot to be desired. The dining experience, especially breakfast, was disappointing and did not meet expectations. On the plus side, the cottage was spacious and private, making it a good value for a family getaway.
